WHAT IS COACHING?

First, let us clarify what coaching is NOT: Coaching is not therapy, nor is it consulting.

Coaching IS:

• A method of powerful questioning that helps you gain access to your best self. The Coach assumes you are perfect and that you own solutions within yourself. It is the Coach’s job to help you discover, clarify, and make into reality your dreams and goals.
• A Coach joins with you where you are and collaborates with you so you can move forward faster.
• A Coach is a safe partner and confidante.
• A Coach will not, in any way, judge you or make you wrong.
• Your Coach holds you accountable in the way YOU want to be held accountable.
• Your Coach will cheer you on.
• Your Coach is your champion.  He helps you look out for your own best interests.
• Your Coach is a sounding board who resonates your ideas back to you. She practices reflective listening.
• A Coach helps you identify limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns that prevent you from attaining your goals and dreams.
• Coaching helps you to develop mental clarity and awareness of the various aspects of your personality.
• Coaching can help you connect more fully with the divine within you.
• With the assistance of your Coach, you can rediscover your art, become more productive, enjoy more abundance. 
  

When you work with a Life Coach, or any other kind of Coach, the work is all about you. The Coach does not interject her opinions or needs or preferences. She does not ambush you with disapproval or hijack your right and responsibility to make your own decisions.

Your Coach has many tools and techniques in her tool box to help you become more and more free and empowered to do the good things you have always wanted to do with your life. The Coach honors who you are and who you are meant to be and takes joy in your progress and development.
